Mission Trip

The date for the Youth Mission Trip is June 29-July 5. We need skilled laborers! If you can go and are interested in helping, please contact Shea Cole at 383-2124.

Sunday, May 18—6:30 p.m.—VBS Training Meeting—all workers are encouraged to attend this fun event. If you can help with VBS in any way please call me or Jennifer Kimbrough, our VBS Director.

Sunday, June 1—Our annual Parent Breakfast—10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall—All parents of children ages nursery thru 6th grade, and their children are invited to join us. Food, Fellowship, Door Prizes, and more!

June 15-19—Vacation Bible School—The schedule is as follows:
Sunday, June 15—Registration—4:30 p.m. Classes 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Monday, June 16—Thursday, June 19—9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
Thursday, June 19—6:00 p.m.—Family Dinner and Singing

June 11—Wacky Wednesdays begin. These are fun field trips most Wednesdays during the summer for all children who have completed grades K-6. On June 11, we will go see “Kung Fu Panda”.

If your child would like to go to Camp Sumatanga, we have a group of children going the week of June 8-13 and June 22-27. Please let me know if you would like to sign up ASAP. Ms Linda

WEDNESDAYS (6:30 p.m.) Beginning February 20, 2008
In I Corinthians 12:1, Paul states “Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.” God wants us to understand spiritual gifts, and yet, many Christians feel very confused in this area. Starting Wednesday evening on February 20 at 6:30 p.m., Vic Watford will be leading a study on Understanding Spiritual Gifts. This study will help you discover your gift, and gain an understanding on how to use it. Call the church office to register.

A TRAVEL GUIDE TO HEAVEN Beginning January 23, 2008
If you are going to spend forever in heaven, you may want to do some research in preparation. A new 14 week study of heaven will begin on January 23 and be lead by Bill Bedsole. We will meet in the Friendship Class. There will be two sessions at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Come and join us if you have any interest. You will be surprised.
