Senior Pastor - Zeke Haselden (email)
Rev. Zeke Haselden was born in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Weaver, Alabama when he was ten years old. He graduated from Weaver High School and received his B.S. Degree in Accounting from Jacksonville State University. In 1981, he received his Master of Divinity from Emory University in Atlanta and was ordained as an Elder in The North Alabama Conference. He has been serving churches in the North Alabama Conference since 1979.

Rev. Haselden is married to Kim Brooks from Alpine, Alabama and they have two daughters, Amanda and Jennifer. He is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys running, horses, and water sports.

Minister of Visitation - Bill Bedsole (email)
Bill provides pastoral care and visitation to those who are homebound, in nursing homes, and in our hospitals. He also teaches a Sunday School class, two Wednesday classes and the Thursday morning Grace class. Bill has 3 children and is a retired Naval chaplain and a member of the Wesleyan Conference.

Minister of Music - Oliver Brazelle (email)
Oliver oversees all of the music of the Chancel Choir and works with the pastors in planning worship. He also helps the trustees to insure that all property and equipment is properly maintained. Oliver and his wife, Mary Grace, live in Sheffield. Their three children; Barry, Bryan, and Belinda, all live in the North Alabama area. They have 4 grandchildren. Oliver is a long-time resident of Sheffield. He graduated from Coffee High School and Florence State College. He has been over the music department at First United Methodist Church for 40 years. He is an active member of First United Methodist Church.

Contemporary Worship Leader - Shane Baker (email)
Shane leads the music for our Contemporary Worship Service. Shane and his wife, Lori, live in Muscle Shoals with their 2 daughters. Shane graduated from Sheffield High School and the University of North Alabama. Shane is also a musician and song writer. He is an active member of First United Methodist Church.

Youth Director - Shea Cole (email)
Shea is responsible for leading our ministry to and with students in grades 7 through 12. He seeks to help our youth in our church and our community to discover, grow and share a life-giving relationship with Christ. He oversees the youth worship ministries, mission opportunities and social events.

Children's Director - Linda Brocato (email)
Linda coordinates programs and activities for children birth through 6th grade. She works with the Children's Council to plan and oversee the Rotation Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Mother's Day Out, and other various activities for our children and their families. She is very active in the Alabama Emmaus Community. Linda and her husband, David, live in Muscle Shoals. They have three sons, Thomas, Benjamin, and Matthew. They all attend Muscle Shoals City Schools. Linda is a life-long resident of the area and grew up attending First United Methodist Church of Sheffield. She graduated from Sheffield High School and the University of North Alabama with a degree in Marketing & Management. She is an active member of First United Methodist Church.

Children's Music Director - Jennifer Kimbrough (email)
Jennifer teaches and directs music for children ages 2 yrs old thru 6th grade. She also directs the youth drama team and dance ministry. She is very active throughout the church. Jennifer teaches Sunday School for the Children's Rotation, she is the chairperson for the Children's Council, and she is also a teacher for our Mothers Day Out program. Jennifer and her husband David, live in Sheffield. They have one daughter, Sarah Grace. Jennifer grew up in FUMC of Sheffield. She graduated from Sheffield High School and The University of North Alabama with a degree in Human Environmental Science concentrating in Child Nutrition. Her minor is Business Management.

Administrative Assistant/Office Manager - Debbie Tuten (email)
Debbie answers the phone in the church office, prepares the bulletins and newsletters and keeps the church calendar. Debbie and her husband, Frank, live in Ford City. Their daughter, Jennifer, is married to Jonathan Call and they have two daughters, Hannah and Sarah. Their son, David, is a senior at Auburn University. Debbie is a life-long resident of the area. She graduated from Central High School and the University of North Alabama. She is an active member of First United Methodist Church. She is a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women and the Chancel Choir. Debbie is very active in the Alabama Emmaus Community. Prior to joining the staff at First United Methodist Church, Debbie worked in the chemistry and biology labs at the Tennessee Valley Authority. Shortly after retirement from TVA she made the prayerful decision to go back to work and change careers. The door was opened at First United Methodist Church. She believes that God led her here and that He has a purpose for her here.

Administrative Assistant/Financial Secretary - Lisa Lindsey (email)
Lisa is responsible for accounts payable, payroll, contributions, and membership. She insures that all financial & membership records are accurate and she also answers the church phone. Lisa and her husband, Brian, live in Sheffield. They have two sons, Travis and Thomas. Travis is a freshman at the University of North Alabama. Thomas is a freshman at Sheffield High School. Lisa is a life-long resident of the area and grew up attending First United Methodist Church of Sheffield. She graduated from Sheffield High School and the University of North Alabama with a triple major in Economics, Finance and Accounting. She is an active member of Faith Church in Florence.
